I think half body gives him more of the powerful energy bcz of the pose, the standing one makes him just kinda stiff

I jsut got another idea if u wanna make the character look more intense n powerful, you could play around with the prespective of the pose and angles, like the camera view being down and the character is looking down at it
And when rendering, making the shadows more dramatic would add to the power or fear
