seems cool to me. but you can use blur tools to create a glow effect if thats what you're trying to do with the hair. Also you can use multiply to change the overall colour scheme for different scenery. Lets say your character was in idk a dark blue room. you could use the multiply layer to colour your entire character that dark blue to fit the scene (the base colours for your character remain it just makes it seem they are in the dark). then you could use the blur tools to add like a glow effect on your character's hair and it would be as if their hair is illuminating in the dark or something. Sorry if what im saying is irrelevant im not an Art pro either but these are just some things that i do idk
