Sketch feels off

I dunno if i have just been staring at it too long or the sketch has sonething really mewssed up.... help.... be mean or somethung,,,, the anatomy is tripping me up

Hmm, I’d say that uhh the jaw, and face can use some more strength, and the right arm should be a tiny bit more lengthy you know? As well as making the limbs a bit more loose, she looks a bit stiff, that’s all I can see, hopefully this helps!!

I’d say its because your pose reference is very dynamic, while what you’ve reproduced, while still open in terms of a pose, looks a bit stiff due to how boxed in she looks

the pose reference has an almost symmetrical pose buts breaks it by posing the limbs differently, making it more interesting to the eye

for what you’ve made here, I’d suggest breaking the symmetry of the pose more, as your dress already has a pattern, as well as the bow in the background, making it feel more boxed due to how static they are

you could treat the dress and bow as you would hair, flowing and free but still controlled
