I do not know how render, shade, color, etc. Any help with the lighting and values is greatly appreciated. Feel free to draw over my art to show me what is wrong with it, thanks. : D

The colours are beautiful, hands are awesome, even the face structure is ok. You just might want to push the jaw back slightly.

I think overall you've done a really good job, but I do think that you may need to do something to the grass right behind Link so that there is a little bit more contrast. For example: if you switch it to greyscale, the shirt blends into the background a little bit too much, so maybe highlights, shadows, or something similar. Either way you should be proud!

I like the color scheme here! so Fantasy and comfort feel, maybe you can improve for the face sided anatomy , ear should be more move to left, like 20% more
