So I’m making a proof of concept for a creature (using photo bashing) and would like to hear some thoughts.
The inner set of jaws are closed because there is a little dude in there that is in symbiosis with the big dude
I may change the inner hands to something else (maybe like some muscles or something??)
And I am absolutely making the teeth far longer than they should be (for the scary)
I also don’t know how I feel about the eyes…
TW: body horror, disturbing, it’s a set of jaws inside another set of jaws, with arms… and eyes
Can I add/change anything that I haven’t already mentioned to make it creepier?
#Proof of concept, thoughts?

Hmm well adding some dark shading. And blood dripping would create a more grotesque figure.
First of all I’m in love with this concept, i thinking realistically this dude would need either more arms (think spider..?) or stronger arms to support the weight of teeth and muscle? Also for the eyes.. technically they are imbedded into a tooth so I think 2 things could happen, A) theirs an eye socket in the tooth and the gums are the eyelids (could explain why smaller guy doesn’t have eyes too teeth fall out new set grows in with eyes(not sure if this fits with what your using this for but cool mayhaps?)) and the option B) just scooting them a tad so they rest between to teeth instead of on a tooth? Or you could keep them personally I’m partial to option A cuz I think that’s sick as hell. Over all I think this design is really cool and theirs a lot of different directions it can be taken my head is usually in the functionality of a creature (what’s its purpose, how does it functions, is it plausible give the setting) anywho like I said this is really cool :>>
I think I’ll go with option A, sounds better ahah
I have made a couple updates since this, including doubling the teeth (wip, almost done), changing the inner hands for tendons/muscles, adding a tongue body/tail/third leg, added more eyes and I removed the skin from the arms.
(I’m still working on the arms, so they aren’t the same style yet)
I’m going to be making his hands bigger, to support all the body weight, and I’ll be making him w e t
This is so sick uuuufhjdksnsla genuinely think this is the coolest thing I’ve witnessed all day
Do you think there’s anything else I could add to his design before I start sketching its reference sheet?
To be added: teeth rot, some gore on his teeth (from his nummy nummy meals), bigger hands, dirt on hands, s l i m e a n d o o z e, saliva strands (think like when a trex roars in a movie)
Forgot to reply
yes what does its backside look like? (lol) But maybe the smaller creature inside could be dangling out from the back not even touching the ground and the legs looking frail/weak/disfigured like they're never used.
Great idea, love it
Maybe just like a little extra detail to the hands (I’m basing this off the dirt part you mentioned) like really grimy nails that are chipped in places and like either blood, scars, or callouses (from having to walk everywhere) like if this creature resides in a more forested environment scars could even climb up the arms from constantly being scrapped and torn against foliage. Depending on its size to bones could get stuck in its teeth like popcorn kernels from its nummy nummy meals
