Learn principles of animation^^!! They are simple but very helpful in the future. You can also try doing different fps, like 2 frames per second
here’s a tip i learned: before anything draw quick sketches of the feet. start with key frames to get the places the feet touch the ground with each step to make sure no step makes the character move more or less than supposed, then the in betweens of the step, connect everything with lines for legs and then animate the lil guy (im no pro animator nor animation student so take what i say with a grain of salt, i just do lil projects from time to time)
the foot animation is really nice, you should lower the fps to like 12 or less, so we can actually nicely see the footwork and the eye has time to catch the details.
