What are the lines from below, the tan ones supposed to be?
Those are basically a place to sit.. like yk tree bark or something
I mean the lines that are infront of the character
That are kinda wavy if you get what I mean
It's like those sea surface, when light falls upon it
I think you should make the lines that I was referring to a little more solid in volume and have a little less blur to them, same with the hair.
Mind if I draw over your drawing so I can give an example?
Sure np
Also mind if I ask. I want to make it colourful but at the same time I want to have it with a bluish look, should I just straight forward run my brush ( in low opcty) over the subject?? I want some suggestions on it maybe if I can make it look cleaner smh
Alright hopefully you can see the lines fine and I also solidified the darker parts of the hair to give them more dimension as an example
Wdym bluish look in this regard?
I want to make it look under water.
I tried to make it look bluish with the help of the water colour brush so that it can look like as if the subject is in very deep . But with that it kind look like very untidy. And doesn't actually match a lot with other parts of the subject. Like yk flute, trident
I think if you are trying to go to that look, I think what helped me when drawing water, and in your case, you wanting to make it look underwater, I would break down the shapes and especially if you really want to give it that underwater vibe, I’m just using this random drawing as an example but if you can see everything has a blue tint to it and you’ll see this in a lot of drawings people do with the figures being underwater.
And as you can see at the bottom of the sea here, it looks like a pattern https://coastalvisionsphotography.com.au/cdn/shop/products/Image-6-Under-Water-World.jpg?v=1680604091&width=1946
I think if you break down the shapes like this, using these lines I drew as an example, they aren’t perfect it just rained but, hopefully you get my point, I think you’ll get more of the vibe you are looking for
