add some dividers between the hair or somethng and maybe form the shape of the highlight a bit
Thank youuuu ill try it
i'm no professional but u could also try adding pupils that are darker than the eye color and try and give light to the roots too 🙂
hi there i took in clip studio just to show,, it all depends on style and what youre going for but i changed some little things quickly if you want me to explain something let me know basically in your version the highlight is just a soft brush line which is okay for style but i changed that also gave a little more color to light , also added a little nose light cuz i like noses and shadow to show volume of face, ofc it all needs to be rendered i just did 5 sec version to show the idea — with more time you could push the highlights, blend them, and really define the volume.
Calculate where the light hits, put the shadows first then blend and add the lighting, use cold tones for the shadows and warm tones for lighting.
Hi there! I tried to make the hair like yours but i didnt find a similar brush. Once I tried, it looked so messed up becouse it was so difficult to me 💔 . So i tried a different style. But i actually loved so much yours 💗😭 and if that its ibis paint i would love to know which brush is that. Also i tried blending more the face and eyes and tried doing nose like u! Ill show u how it ended and also my attempt to make hair in your style. Please if u have any other advise id love to hear! Thank you so much for your help
Thats what i tried at end ty!
I did so at the end thank youu
No problem i can make you a reference for free if you struggle
yt tutorials would help u a lot
Thats true yesss
hey there im happy you found it helpful ! yours is working quite better now especially on the left i really like it, its the basic - round mixing brush on clip studio paint, its quite known so im sure you could find an importable version for ibis paint, how ever any harder brush with no texture could work i think in yours now, it seems you kind of treated them all as couple of blobs or your brush is way too blendy, i tried to add sharp separating in between so its smaller and bigger shapes of hair, usually a lot of people struggle cause their painting each hair but you kind of went the opposite way which honestly isnt horrible, now it looks like it was made in blender but also sense its all dark with very sharp thin line of highlight it might seem a little like synthetic material, its usually good that siluethe doesn't completely disappear in the dark, here i just added a little bit of strands to make sure it reads as hair careful how much you add if you chose to do this and also changed some of the side hairs a little so they don't spike out as much in sharp little bits
Omg ill try this rn
uh okay mby its too much effort from me xd but was bored and spent 10 more minutes on it cuz i was not liking how random my own brush strokes looked but now here you can see if you start adding a lot it starts going towards more realism also added little bit shadows which is just style choice and liquified the hair cause when i mirrored image it was looking disproportional also just a note it can create imbalance if all hairs on face are going to 1 side, but as it was the all hair direction already i couldn't change it, and ofc i added more visible nose cuz i like nose's 🙂 anyways xd
I know its not that acurrate and im lady to edit those tiny hairs rn but i feel pretty proud 😌Hahaha
you should be, to me its definitely looking even better than previous one ! keep the grind going <3, but yes youtube is also full of amazing teachers with everything you could want related to art, but im always happy to see people doing and learning art keep it up ! its very good
Thank you so much, i learned so much from you! Ill keep trying
