advice? general thoughts? the lines are a lot cleaner but i also spent a bit more time on the more recent one. compared to the reference i think i still flattened out a lot of the foreshortening. i feel like i its also far stiffer that the earlier one, which seems odd since ive been doing a fair bit of gesture drawing since...

Looks great
nice pogress :D
Some corrections, some might be because of the tilting of the paper, first of all, great progress, really neat, you might have felt some loss of flow because the last one is cleaner and some parts are more squared, but actually archery poses tend to be quite stiff because they require a lot of tension and you kind of need that stiffness, as for the tips, the cranium sits too low and is kind of pointy, the deltoid feels kinda short, the bump of the ribcage, belly and hip that you had on the first one have been lost and they give a lot of naturality and meatiness to the figure, I would recommend to flatten the wrist when the hands are sideways and beware the feet, it feels like it represents the bone that's beneath it
Quite nice in general and don't worry about flow, it's very common to have a little stiffness when practicing anatomy
