My lighting and shading looks off. Is there anything wrong with it?

If you’re open to it, I would recommend using Unsplash for photbashing stuff/backgrounds. All the images there are free to use if you filter out the subscription stuff

With a few blending layers and an airbrush brush I think you could achieve a similar look with one of these

could you give me your thought process on how you chose where to shade in? I was going with a more anime type of look so i only chose 2 colors for the shading. ( i’m pretty new to art and im still learning sorry if it bothers you too much)

I just thought about a light source from the right and deepened the shadows a bit. But I don't think with your version is anything wrong if you prefer a simplified anime style !
