Something is wrong with the hand

It looks really off and I can't figure out why

Try holding something similar and see how the hand is supposed to look like

The hand is off because the forearm is way too…fat I guess?

I think it's cause the (what I believe is the thumb) is on the wrong side because on ur right hand the thumb is on the right side but in this drawing the "thumb" is on the left side
