#looks too childlike?

I think this is due to the size difference between the characters
Not only the height difference but also the size of her body and head
It’d be a bit unrealistic for somebody in the same age range to have such a smaller head. The only thing you gotta do is resize the proportions a bit and it should look great!!
Keep in mind you haven’t drawn her features yet so she might look much older once you do
I think it looks very nice :D
Maybe widen the hips a bit? If you're thinking it's childish, maybe that's because of the tinning body. Maybe it's just my own art style but I usually draw fem-presenting characters in more of an hourglass or pear, putting some emphesis on hips.
i tried to make it accurate to the characters im drawijg because i saw they had half a head of difference between them
Well difference in height you don’t need to change!
I meant the actual heads
ohh ok
His head a bit smaller and hers a bit bigger could already do the trick.
Why ?
Heads are relatively (!! Not absolutely) the same size no matter if the adult is 160cm or 230cm
Look at pictures of basketball ers and at pictures of Tyrion Lannister and compare the headsize
This means vice versa to depict a very tall person without making him look like another species (giant) make their head smaller compared to their body.
Average person will fit 6.5 to 8 heads in their body height.
A tall person could fit 9 or more
(marvels superheros for example are usually using the 9.5 head measure )
I hope this is of some help : D
In this particular case I'd even advise to make her bigger overall and then move her down again so her head is at the same height as now.
Because if now you would draw the characters full body you would see that her legs could not even reach the floor because she's scaled a bit too small 🙂
