i think you did a pretty good job on the folds and how the fabric behaves! I think the slight stiffness has to do with the pose. All the body parts seem to be stacked on top of each other, which we as humans almost never do. when we are in a comfortable position, our torso and hips are not likely to be aligned parallel to each other. You can stand up and try it for yourself, it might jelp you get a better feel for it.
when it comes to folds there are 4 main things yo keep in mind; gravity (the fabric is being pulled by it), tension points (where the fabric is being pulled or pushed), the form under it and the overlapping movement if the character is moving
i would recommend finding references and drawing over the folds as a first exercise. focus on what kind of lines there are, how they bend and stuff. Dont get stuck on this exercise for too long, it is to build your visual library before the second exercise. (but do as many you need to ease in ofc)
the second exercise is figuring out the four factors i mentioned above, on the references. I do one layer above the reference to point where the gravity is pulling the fabric down and (if) where the fabric defies gravity. Another layer to pin point as many tension points as i can notice, and how they are pulling or pushing the fabric. Next layer for drawing what i think the shape under the fabrc looks like
I hope you didnt get super bored reading these lol
i can send an example tomorrow morning maybe
also feel free to ask away your question if you have any
