I just finished this piece after about a week- im not good at hands at all- yes i had references, they didnt help very much haha, just wondering if anyone had advice or if anyone noticed something i didnt that should be changed or looks weird.

try adding some highlights next time. unless it’s supposed to be dark but it should have some sort of light source. it’ll help with the contrast of the darkness

Maybe trying to express more form with the light. It appears that the light comes from above looking at the hands, but it is unclear in the character. I dont know if the white outline is intentional or not, but it also messes with the depth perception of the illustration

Like, I see you use a lot of lines in your work too. I dont know if the point of your illustration is to show your linework, but if it is i would recomend making it more noticable. If you wanted a painting, i recomend using less lines and more shapes of colors to show your idea. here i leave a quick example

I deleted some lines and added some contrast. It is important to understand the concept of cast shadow and how it looks in different lighting scenarios.

Hi! I imply added ome lighning and shaded some thing slike the blood differently, in the end i also changed the face a bit to be anatomically more accurate, hope that helpscatthumbsup
