i feel like using what looks like a stamp tool for stars makes the bg look very unnatural. stars differ in size and tend to be clustered instead of spread around evenly

also be sure to use references! space has a lot of variety in how it looks

you could also add in nebula to guide the viewers eye and add in some colour to the background cheeeeeeese

I was going for a sort of 80s retro style for it,, 100% needs more color for the background,
