maybe the coloring. i would suggest following these guides. as along with composition. there's the rule of thirds you could research on and learning how to properly cut-off the character. (ie, certain joints, limbs) so it looks pleasing to the eye. i would also suggest following upw ith some practices of anatomy. it looks like murder drones to me, and they have a pretty stylized anatomy.
the lighting is also very confusing.
might i add that using a darker shade for the lineart could help distinguish the parts from each other. The colors ur currently using for the lineart could be used for shadowing instead.
also yea i agree with this. An easy way to do this is lowering the saturation of the overall piece. This is especially effective in your case since majority of the character is grey anyway. But for other instances, you could overlay a singular color (ie salmon pink, blue, greyish blue, etc) over the character/piece, set the layer to color mode, and lower the opacity
gradient maps also help but i dont think thats available in ibis paint
the background and clothe are one color which doesnt sit right
