Spoilers for real life spider fangs!
I have this anthro wolf spider character and I wanted to know if his fangs are okay. I think I did good job with drawing the fangs, however they kinda just look like they're sticking out, while real life spider fangs have that upper part (apparently it's called "chelicerae") and I was debating whether I should keep his fangs like that or edit them, adding the "chelicerae" but I'm not exactly sure. Feel free to drop opinions or redline. Genuinely any help is appreciated!

definitely make the fangs more pronounced maybe something like this
Ooo the first one looks nice! But I feel like they are too big for this character, but I'm still gonna think about it. As for the second one, I tried it before but sadly did not like the way it looked!
Spoiler for close up of a wolf spider!
The thing is, I am content with the shape of the fangs, I just don't know if I should add the chelicerae, basically the huge two things
Fyi: Male Wolf spiders (and probably all male spiders Ig) have these small arms called "pedipalps" which I did not give my character, because these are like spider genitals, which I do not need on a anthropomorphized spider for obvs reasons
Hey, I think that your piece looks amazing, but if you look at the spiders fangs, they are like turned more towards itself, and both of yours are turned in the same way, I quickly drew this in paint (forgot the tablet and made it quickly lmao), maybe you could implement something like this? (ofc thats just a suggestion)
i dont think adding the chelicerae would look bad
just dont make them super large like on a real spider
Thanks, glad you like my piece! And thank you for the suggestion! It looks very great!
Yeah ofc!
Also, are his eyes okay? Ik I made this post for his fangs, but help with his eyes would also be nice!
