Tracing over references and breaking them down into simpler shapes. Anyone have any advice or just wanna roast my slightly better stick figures?? (Day 2 of drawing btw)

Maybe you could try simplifying the figures with other shapes instead of only circles and ovals!! The human body its not all round
Youre doing really good for starters, keep going!!

Also if u want to practice objects and other shapes, the DrawABox tutorials are pretty good too

Youre doing great so far. Id suggest using drawn references instead of irl references. Specifically the ones where it shows the shapes of the body like the drawings shown by acidxtouch. Similarly, I think its a good idea to use different shapes such as squares, triangles etc., the drawn references would help in figuring out which shape to use and which part of the body suits it better happycat

Tho every artist uses different shapes, so its also best to pick shapes that are more comfortable for you to draw

This is only for u to get the hang of using shapes. Anatomy drawings by artists are usually not 100% accurate so once uve gotten better at that, u could start w irl refs
