ive been trying to work on my anatomy because i used to draw heads the same size as the torsos, so ive tried making heads much smaller, do you think its a bit TOO small?

Hii, i think the way you draw the proportions of the anatomy is really good. The head is neither too small nor big, just the exact and right size for the body. Also i think ur art is pretty good! (✷‿✷)

Just wanted to throw in my two cents! I think the size of your head is fine now, but you could definitely adjust the size further for certain effects. For example, if you want to make your characters look "cuter" you might want to make their heads bigger (often done for female characters)— this also makes them look shorter as well

#

That's why some people count the height of characters in "heads"

#

Since the height of a character is generally measured using the ratio of head to body~

#

The current ratio of your head to body is totally fine tho! Like trigue said it's pretty good! Just giving some info in case you wanna toggle sizes later on

Ooh I see!

#

Honestly I think the way you draw legs right now is really cute, it reminds me of Panty&Stocking (anime)

#

I'm guessing you currently want to make the proportions look a bit more realistic?

#

(This is panty&stocking)

#

I think a good place to start is by locating where all the joints are when you sketch

#

After all that's where all the muscles and bones connect. It all cinches in at the joints

#

Making the joint clear is a good way to make the proportions a bit easier to see (and correct) as well

#

It really depends on how heavy you want to stylize your art
