its veriy nice idk what to crit
Really good stuff!
I think the piece is lacking in terms of bounce light to really sell that 3D look
This isn't mine but it's really helpful
I also think that because she's out in the sun, everything should be a warmer tone
keep in mind also where your light source is. I wasn't sure where it was but given most of the shadows, I assumed it's coming from the upper left side. There could be multiple light sources, but dynamic lighting can be achieved with bounce lighting.
add layer mode is also helpful in making lighting look natural
wait OMG! first of all thankyou so much this is such a nice insight! this is actually really helpful, thankyou for actually showing me how it would be on my piece
- i actually did add bounce light a bit under her arm, thighs, and right side of the body but i put the opacity so low bcs im too scared to bring it out thinking it would ruin it or just too much, but now im looking at the example i actually need to pop it more
- and youre right the light source would be from upper left
- as for warmer light, i know it should be warmer but its more of a personal taste that i decided to be bit more neutral/cool one, cuz i just didnt like the warmer light when i did it, but now i saw what u did with the warmer light (which is better than what i did ofc) i actually like it, maybe i should try to bring the bounce light more and i would like the warmer tone better
again thankyou so much for all the feedback, much appreciate ❤️
