I've been trying to do this fun method of abstractifying real cool pictures, but...
wont be easy, youll probably fail a few times but thats apart of the process!
probably put down the base colour (dark green that becomes lighter+duller as it gets further), place down the shapes of the flowers (make sure you get smaller the further back you go like the person above said, but also make sure father back is less detailed and closer up is more detailed), go back over it with your base colour to carve out any areas in-between flowers that you may have over-coloured. keep going around with the flower colours and the base colours, carving things out until you get something you like
if youre going for abstraction, make sure you pay attention to the shape design and brush strokes (heres a good video https://youtu.be/-ZknWKTpc90?si=2_7QEdmrG_akIXCa). make things pleasing to look at by having a balance of Big Medium and Small shapes (https://youtu.be/ZluGXgpdJj4?si=jlHHECIFtPaySA0u)
overall just try things out and play around, dont be afraid to fail since failing will give you valuable information on what does and doesnt work, goodluck!
