What could I do to make this piece more interesting?

I love the drawing!! I think that is fine, but if you want it to be more interesting I would say that you could experiment with different colors, or add more things to the character or her clothes.

Thank you! I’m not that good at character design so I’m not really the best at adding accessories and what not, but I’ll keep that noted for the future!

One thing that can make it more interesting is different lighting, playing around with lighting can really help the image have more too it. Another small thing you could do is add strands of hair that are slightly out of place or blowing back. Knee highs may also help as well may be something to consider. One more thing is having her interact with her environment, like maybe she's holding her hand like that because it's raining, things like that, hope that helps 🦭
