the perspectives off+posing the guy in reference photo is tilting his head more than your art, also if you look at the original picture the neck lines up with the ear without having a tilt. it's straight. howvere, the details you've made look good! and you could change the perspective+pose to be looking at the camera to the side of them instead whch would make the right ear less visible and lower. I would also make the mouth and nose bigger and further down, studying the human face by breaking it into shapes is the best way to understand proportions! Printing (if possible) the reference photo and breaking it down into different shapes will help you with facial proportions and think of the face as an entire structure instead of details to fill in.
