Pretty straightforward:
- Bring ur team (ideally people with lot of unique cards so they can't show up for copy card events)
- remove basic cards/convert from target characters deck (also can remove cards from non-target character decks ex. Mika's whirlpool shit card)
- pray to rng for good epiphanies on target character
- pray the card u want copied shows up
That's it. A lot of times u can just leave the run by the time u clear first floor if RNG sucked

After playing around with Sereniel and some Combatants, I've come to the conclusion that some logic is spaghetti coded
The culprit is Pale Shooting Star. Simple enough, it does one attack itself and then it activates a given number of Homing Lasers from your Draw or Graveyard piles.
One noteworthy interaction is with Cassius' quests. Obviously, for each laser activated, it counts one point towards his quest. In his case, it makes perfect sense.
Then we get to shit like Hugo's Commence the Hunt or the Mark stacks (doesn't matter where from, but let's take Selena's since her kit revolves around Mark).
I am going to assume that the intent here was as follows:
Pale Shooting Star is used, it does its attack, the extra attack from the respective operator is then done (and -1 stack), then after each laser activation, an extra attack triggered (-1 stack).
But the current flow is as follows:

How is this spaghetti code?
In the current flow, the stacks don't update after each laser use. They update after the extra attacks coming from the lasers. What does this mean?
- In Hugo's case, remember that big stack number = big damage from Commence the Hunt. Each use makes extra attack weaker. Because stacks don't update, Hugo does not have decreasing damage so he's always dealing "full" damage in his barrage.
- In Selena's case, she can simply have 2 stacks of Mark before Sereniel uses Pale Shooting Star; so long as at least 1 Mark remains after Pale Shooting Star's original attack is used, the logic is that throughout all laser activations the stack still existed and as a result she makes multiple extra attacks.
- An addendum here is that if you try to do the same with High-Power Scope IV, Selena will only do one extra attack after the lasers. I think the logic here checks a true/false on whether an attack card has been used, rather than how many. There's also no "stacks" to keep track of.
The stacks do get removed correctly afterwards (and they don't result in "negative" values). It's just spaghetti code regarding updates.
