I can think of some silly strats with magna for instance

the variant of one of her skills that does 200% aoe def based dmg every turn end would be silly to happen 3x

2x from replication, 3rd from that

been running that variant of magna's skill in tandem with veronica and its simply ridiculous

my hunch is that character-specific cards of the same rarity as general ones are weighted by half the internal point count

eg a common character specific is worth 1 pt, but a common general one is worth 2

so if a character-specific mythic/5* skill is worth 5 points, a general purpose or monster one would be worth 10

regardless of how good or not it is

gear also seems to be factored into this too, but it's calculated prior to skills in terms of internal point usage

or the equipment or whatever

the tldr is:

equipment + skills together cannot exceed 30 pts (at very low save data value, this cap may increase with higher variations, most likely by +1 each?), point values are as follows:

for equips:
blue = 2 pts, gold = 3, purple = 4

for char specific skills (based off skill name text color):
grey = 1 pt, blue = 2, gold = 3, purple = 4

for general skills tied to 2+ classes/monster skill drops:
grey = 2 pt, blue = 4 pt, gold = 6 pt, purple = 8 pt

for skill epiphanies:
add +1 pt to card value for regular version, additional +1 for divinity effect.

note1: replication only counts one copy of the replicated skill, anything with the "replicate" effect counts as 0 pts
note2: empty gear slots also equal 0 pts
note3: skill ordering matters for what gets kept, eg replaced skills would be prioritized over what they replaced because they're higher up in the skill list

so if you triple or quad replicate smth it only counts the first copy towards the point total
