I played heavy guardian and with my prior experience as Tank i can easily say heavy guardian is legit strong and gets even crazier with more skill points.
I tested shield and sword and it felt like a huge downgrade.
Sure he can heal but heavy guardian just shields itself into oblivion which is much more valuable since it keeps scalling further.
Oh and i forgot heavy guardian also has self-healing with the right spec, so if the shield ever drops and you lose some hp you just shield urself again and heal up or wait for your healers heals while ur already shielded again.
And you can shield your group which is also huge.
Then you have really good aoe skill / enemy pulling together skills, a stun which has like 4 seconds with 2 charges which is absolute broken and what not.
Dont underestimate that class really, its super strong

Honestly the stun is the most op thing about that class

Its skill 2, you jump across the half map and stun everything where you land

Its absurd

And then low cd and 2 charges
