the animation is divided into 4 categories afaik, no gurantees, 1x guranteed 3*/ssr, 1x guranteed ONBANNER 3star/ssr, and both guranteeds at once (aka 2x guranteed 3star/ssr and at least 1 being guranteed onbanner)

you can still hit more than your gurantee animation shows obviously

like, I've gotten a 4/10 on the 1x onbanner gurantee animation

but in the end all these animations only kick in if you watch them, and it's faster to just skip + check

note that obviously you won't ever see the 2x gurantee on a single pull, but everything else is applicable to those

generally speaking, the rule of thumb I use is:

attacker units want skill power traits wherever possible
breaker units want predominantly stun damage
tanks want phys/mag resist
supports fall into 3 categories: healing given (healer types), buff% given (buffers), skill power (buffers that also attack)

tldr skill power is the best filler trait for all types except healers and non-attacking buffers

this is because any trait with "power" in the name goes to a separate multiplier than those with "damage" in place of it

(eg ice damage boost is additive with skill damage boost, but multiplicative with skill power boost)
