Only use for tanks is to throw them in when something big happens so they buff you def or shield you, literally no other use

Like on paper you want to throw your dps out last after all buffs happened since those are global permanentaly active right, so they dont even auto attack much, but that conflicts in my eyes with gear sets which are also active for 7 turns or what ever
And on the other side if you throw them out early you dont have buffed miracles, and if you wait with miracles you also miss out on some pretty strong effects

for example, you need bunch unit for tsuchinoko to work

silver fox and tsuchinoko

lion and penguin also need bunch too

ibis is easiest to work with, any support buffer is fine

i mean generally speaking you 100% need a tank, 1-2 healer, jaguar (dunno who else does -atk -def except shoebil but thats out of reach for you for now)

healers use what ever

but jaguar (or others like her) is mandatory everywhere else ur just one shot
