rarity is fixed based off data bank level

it'll tell you the rates if you click on it in data bank

it's basically a pokedex if you will, except each higher tier rarity gives additional exp

green echoes give +10 exp iirc, blue gives a +10 on top of that first +10, purple gives +15 exp on top of the two +10s, gold gives +20 exp on top of everything else

but rarities are locked behind databank levels, so you gotta farm a bit to raise the rarities you can get, then farm more to do it again etc etc

you can kinda skip thru green/blue

via killing off the special enemies
