you can use lower rarity units to rank up ssr but only for specific stars from what i noticed typical in cn tw kr idle games
but in the end if you dont spend your acc bricked anyways

and then you have the fact that the 3 best units in the game are "limited" neutral units being hidden behind normal gacha 4% ssr rate but there is like 50 ssrs in the pool and the neutrals are 0.008 while rest of the SSRs are 0.800 or so

so gl pulling neutrals and dream about pulling dupes of them
