Early on you will probably want to be frugal and stop at 8 on your traces, only pushing 10 on really important ones. But later on you'll be swimming in credits/orb things, I've got everyone to 80 and maxxed all my 5 star traces just because it was something to do and I didn't want ot deal with relic sorting at the time.

Yes and no. Most Kafkas are flexible and most people are using windset harmony kafka as a replacement harmony unit. some people are using a slightly tweated version of her old build with new planar.
