It depends on the player tbf. Because your only here for fate. You should focus on getting as much jades as you can. Redeem codes (if there is any active), and breeze through the story. Sunday is good ofc. I do agree with @green pulsar on it. I just think getting whatever has value on character/lc. (like what is important between eidolons vs lc) for your favorite fate unit in questions.

Ruan Mei can pretty much fit in any team, even if she isn't the best. You can save though, they will add more characters you can redeem with that item eventually. I'm saving just because I hate Ruan Mei on a personality level.

Otherwise you could also get Luocha if you're having problems with heals and dying in combat
