gbf isnt about summoning straight all gems
you wait for the normal fest which is middle of the month or the granfest end of every month for the 6% ssr rate

But good units = easier to clear content and with resources to upgrade them

gbf units upgrade is not by farming mats

you uncap them with easy af to get mats

and the more you use them the more you can upgrade passives

also the good units are on the 6%

this is what you get when u use a unit very often
points to upgrade passives

with rings you get from events and other various sources (they throw that shit at you) you can reroll some passive stats on your unit

on top of that you can raise the awakening of your unit once it hits max level (which is pretty fast)

also in gbf its

weapons > units
you can pull the most op unit but with a non farmed grid it will have not much impact
