My breakdown for evangelion; the story is all over the place and makes very little sense. The characters are annoying and unlikable, and the only thing good about the show are the robots fighting the angels, but that’s not enough to elevate it to the height that it’s at. IMO. That would be like praising ghost in the shell just for the opening animation. (Which is animated perfection)
