@eager hamlet Outer Wilds. ||I now realise why you were surprised by my progression. it took me about 8 loops, but I finally found the tapes with them revealing how to get into dark world areas. In my defence, I used my deducting skills on the fact I like to remove everything from the shelves in games, not thinking the fact maybe the dark world is like the real world, just slightly different to check that underwater cave passage. ||
||Although I do wish there was some sort of indicator something changed when I extinguished the lights, felt like I was doing nothing but that past 3 loops wondering what I even was doing with that. And yes I seen the memory stick showing that there is secret passage in the tower before hand.||

Of all the Metroid Games, Metroid Dread feels the best to play, I often don't find myself really wanting to replay a game as soon as I finish a playthrough, often feeling that not having those movement upgrades anymore would feel bad, that there's the lack of discovery anymore as well.
It's a hard game, but it feels rewarding to overcome.

Don't know how exactly I can turn off the blocker but I think that's alright. Overall I say it was fun experience, but I won't lie that it can be a bit too hard to do if you aren't aware of the way how the artefact works or where to drop down in mid transition on the boat, otherwise it's all fun and fair DLC to explore. Love the interactions and such, think the visual design quite heavily improved or looks more consistently well, not to dig on the visuals in the main game, just that some places feel more barren and boring than other planets, for me at least. Now I guess onto back to the main game.||

my biggest frustration with the all chat stuff is that they acknowledge that 'some' toxicity comes from team chat which just feels like such a gross understatement. if they were prioritizing the most effective means of reducing toxicity i really dont know how they ended up at all chat being the first problem to address, especially considering it is an optional feature that is off by default

i had steam too but i preferred retail discs bc my internet was bad in a "1gb takes 2 hours to dl" way. digital gaming was not feasible for me without committing literal days just to download a game

Well at least the combat, by the looks of it, is uh... faithful to DmC.... which is not saying a lot but I doubt you can implement the style system onto mobile without buttons filling the screen.

when you can make out the details of the monster, when you can learn about it, it's not scary anymore
well, it can eat your brains and take your soul, so what.. big deal, there are plenty of creatures alike
but when you can't be sure from what the danger comes from, then it's scary
when monster is either unknown, or can't be seen well
that's why monsters of 90s were creepy af, it was hard to make out where is the face or something to begin with

Ok here's a question why did Ubi casualize Splinter Cell with Conviction
Afraid they dont reach a big audience? There's 2 kinds of accessibility imo, the one for disabilities which is always welcome and the stupid difficulty accesibility which trivializes the whole game. It's ruining the experience. Imo not every game is for everyone and making it absolutely easy completely destroys what made it good previously

Conviction was kinda great actually but I got the feeling it might just have been some Bourne movies game but rebranded as Splinter Cell
