I was really only holding out on switch for the upgraded power that super switch was speculated to have. I waited so long. since my umbral knight only run has started ive realized i finally know what im doing and have been able to not die every 5 minutes and beat the bosses 2nd try

tl;dr of the plot you play as lily, a white priestess, and thats a title that comes with the burden of purifying the blight

but they're a child and cant fight so they use the spirits of purified people and such

Also most spirits have a limit of attacks between rests and you can have a limited number of spirits

Umbral knight is one of the few with unlimited uses being a guy with simple sword attacks

in fairness it would be an absolute disservice to ignore the fact there are people working at these companies that have to fight tooth and nail for inclusivity, i wish those people well. the dudes at the top managing the company absolutely are not the ones that ever push for equality and inclusivity.

The ActiBlizz situation is very complicated and, as tatz said, it's a culture-wide problem. It's not something that only happens in these bigger companies, and it's not something that only happens in the gaming industry.

I really hope the lawsuit holds individuals to account, because a fine--even a hefty one--is unlikely to leave more than an easily healed wound. Particularly with big launches (Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2) on the horizon.

I can definitely believe that some individuals--even ones at the top--are opposed to the behaviour talked about in the lawsuit. I can also see some individuals--perhaps even some of the same individuals--believing that they didn't take part in, encourage, or approve of that behaviour... when they did. Some people genuinely do not notice harassment for what it is regardless of how close they are to it. They need to be made aware. And held to account.

I love Overwatch, and I've sunk more than I care to admit into Hearthstone, Diablo, and WoW over the years. But... something needs to change.

I played over 1,000 hours of Overwatch from late 2016 to last year when I decided I was dropping PvP and live service games for good

I'm glad I made that decision back then because it wasn't easy to leave the game after investing so much time and money into it

for a while it was my comfort food multiplayer shooter, until it got more "competitively balanced" and boring with every update

Heck, for years, Blizzard paid less than the industry standard because it was 'prestigious' to work there. I feel bad for the many folk who've just done their jobs and not been awful people.
