Those are not Roguelites because they are old and the devs didn't know what they were doing.

because those two games are aiming for completely two different styles

there was less going on there when compared to eternal

eternal has way more stuff in terms of gameplay - sure
but it's actually balanced for once and offers a nice challenge on all difficulty levels
