For instance. I've only died once, but that'd because the first area is scripted specifically I think, ending wiht an enemy you just won't be able to beat, before title screen

But I then did a 2 hour run. I'm still not finished with it. I'm taking a break for the night cuz it took on a horror direction in this part of the game ans its 3am and screw that
So I can't speak on behalf of its roguelite-ness, as I haven't seen what changes between runs. However, there's clearly a story that's being slowly built, In a kind of obscure sci-fi sense. It has metroidvania-style gameplay as well in the sense of "as you progress, you'll unlock abilities to allow you to access places you were previously unable to access so go back". Im not sure if those abilities will carry over between runs. My thoughts are that they won't, but ill lyk
In that sense it's definitely not like hades, as hades has very specific 'clear a room then move on until u die or win, and get stronger with each run' gameplay
I can tell it will have specific roguelite elements, but I dojt think it'll have roguelite elements the same way hades does with the darkness mirror and weapons hall upgrades, but rather closer to a binding of isaac "the game gets more expansive the more you play it, so it feels like progression but really it's just allowing you to explore more, while each run is it's own". But i think it'll land somewhere in the middle
Definitely gonna be a slow burn though. But I'm loving it. I'll drop another short essay in the future or just sentence if my opinions change/develop. Well see

From my experience, HK takes some time to get used to, but platforming is not that bad imo. What's harder (or more annoying) is dying to a boss and having to go all the way to it again (which takes time, but there are no platforming challenges on the way, just enemies, so you need to be careful). The game is on a different level of hard when comparing to DC and Hades - you need to be more precise and the combat is less forgiving. But the enemies and boss patterns are not that hard to learn and there is a certain level of satisfaction after beating some of them.
It is hard and it is frustrating at times, but has a certain charm to it. The game doesn't really guide that much, so you need to explore a lot as well.

The reason why you have to meet with Anemone on the rebel camp is because an informant of YoRha has come missing but once you meet with her the plot moves on and the informant and that plot point are not mentioned again

As someone who ran through all the dishonored games earlier this year, play both 2 and death of the outsider. The conclusion to the latter is pretty meh, but the new powers are lots of fun. However, I cannot recommend the dlcs for dishonored 1 enough. They are amazing, if you haven't played them

Platformers usually as a genre try to be quite challenging since in place of stuff like mario series and such it's usually not that difficult of a learning curve, but everyone sort of goes very far with how hard platformer games can go, so there is this sort of endless amount of hard platformers or platformers that are trying to be hard, but end up in unfair territory.
Not to say they aren't platformers that don't go too hard with their difficulty, but they are rarity in the genre since they are usually hidden away behind all the hard ones since those are put in front due to being "DIFFICULT AND CHALLENGING PLATFORMER" or "RAGE INDUCING" sort of stuff like that.
Though if they aren't hard in platforming section, they are probably far from just being platformers and having more focus on other stuff and having platformer just being a part of the game's overall mix.

I did played Path of Exile once on a friends PC, started a new save and all that, from my 3 hour experience, it is pretty good, pretty much what people said about it being a D2 spiritual successor is true. What makes Path and Warframe different though is how it shows you stuffs from when you’re still starting out vs when you’re at high enough levels; in Path, you don’t really see what’s the full extent of the mechanics was when you’re just starting out, so, it felt lighter, with Warframe though, there’s so much stuffs you can see but won’t be able to even click until you’re at that specific level or something
At least that was my experience of it
I guess I would be playing Warframe if I just had much more time to play a lot of games, but in my situation now, time is luxury and I have so much stuffs on my backlog

even just watching resi 8 was way more fun than playing resi 7

but it looks like resi 8 fixes almost all issues i've had with 7 (and there was quite a lot of them, all things considered)

Fun fact about REVIII, they cut a third playable character from the game and cut their subplot short in the game ||Elena was originally supposed to survive the house fire and be playable with old trailers showing you in her perspective in first person||

those first few announcements made it feel like npcs in this game would play a much bigger role
especially considering how suddenly super invested ethan gets in those folks lives and then snaps all like "why do people keep dying on me!?" 
like... mate - you've known them for like 5 minutes tops
and then the game quickly forgets about all of this and moves on

To be honest I think that had more to do because both the villagers and the old man died because he got close to them
