Warframes and melee weapons have special mods (aura and stance mods, respectively) that actually increase the base capacity too

Always rank up stuff to rank 30 to get all mastery points before disposing of them

In my experience, learning the movement, and always heading for the objective marker will never lead you astray

the minimap is nice, but the objective marker is more clear usually

it'll point you to the nearest doorway that points forward

and then learning to bullet jump straight up and bullet jump fowards will basically let you get to anywhere in a room instantly

you're always either dashing forward, killing everything in this room, or pressing a button

i had to come in here and tell you guys about it

check out this story 👏
so - KCD starts in this rather idyllic way
the sun is shining, everyone is having a lovely day
and you get a list of chores to do which serve as your tutorial

you get like 5 things to do in this nice little compact place before crap hits the fan and the game starts off proper

you have about a solid hour of gameplay to get used to all the intricacies (and dear lord just the tutorial for picking dialogue options is two pages long ) before this happens

anyways - me being me
30 minutes in i screwed up and got caught stealing
stealing what was rightfully mine, of course
and got thrown in jail

and i was fully expecting the game to switch to another tutorial section about crime and jail and reputation and what not - but no
turns out - time doesn't wait for you

that raid happened while i was in jail
the whole cutscene happened right outside my jail window

and then the whole village burned down with me still locked up - failing the tutorial
and this is before i even got the tutorial for saving the game

oh this is gonna be one of those RPGs

welp - at least the game over screen is pretty nice

this reminds me of how the saving in nier automata is diagetic so you also don't get a save point for the entire tutorial

a common advice is "if you want to play hard mode but get stuck in the tutorial, just turn that to normal and switch it later"

basically you have one active save slot - that's for save and quit
and then you can make extra saves by knocking back a shot of saviour shnapps
and that thing costs like a 100 a pop

i can barely handle normal

KDC is not 500 hours long, is not that long, if you get lost or do the side quest, of course the time would increase or you can ignore the Main quest and just mess around, which many people do, but if don't want to u can finish the game in 20 or 30 hours, it really depends on how much you invest on improving your Henry character in combat because combat is not easy and is hard to explain without experimenting it yourself.

Same deal with games like the witcher 2 and 3

Play on deathmarch, always. Is more fun that way
