really curious on how this upcoming week looks like tbh, obviously they will balance some things or just do bugfixes since HK also got quite a few patches but they wont and shouldnt make it to much easier either, its meant to be more difficult afterall, i kinda wont be surprised if they only do some minor tweaks and dont reduce any damage on anything

I think it's weird to dismiss all criticism of the game as just needing to get good

there are people who've got 112 HK who are dissatisfied with the game

imo the double damage is an artificial way of increasing difficulty

a lot of the bosses have very simple and well-telegraphed moves that are easy to dodge, but the presence of ads (that can also deal double damage) makes the fights exceedingly tedious

I'm a fan of games that are easy to play, hard to master. HK was that, Elden Ring was that, Celeste is the pinnacle of it

I am one of those people. I am completely incompetent in the game yet I managed to get all achievements in HK. I suffered a lot. It took me double if not triple the time to get things done.

Which means that if you get hit late you just take one damage, while in HK, you would still take 2 damage.

||I found that too! Its makes sense that they have different names for it since there has likely never been any contact between hallownest and pharloom besides maybe the weavers. Also lifeblood in HK wasn't harmful, it was just made taboo by the pale king likely bc of its potential power||
