yeah you can approach it diagonally or dodge up it (dodging gives you full control no mater your current momentum) or just yeet yourself up with a grenade or a different explosion or just...

he doesn't have any shields in that first fight
so as long as you can land a nade on his back the splash damage should hit the weak spot

At the moment, more Blue Prince. I reached Antechamber outskirts, as in kissed a wall from the other side. So now I have to figure out the basics. As in how to actually unlock it, and how to find that room 46. I got to the basement in Foundation (hope that elevator remains unlock permanently) but didn't have a key for it. Also got some vault keys but no vault to open them. And in office I used a code from Conference room but it didn't work so either it changes daily or I am stupid

sure there are points when it barely holds together and it crashes harder than our current economy BUT HEY
nobody is perfect
also - it's a spy thriller

Punching out al-Jilani multiple times, headbutting a krogan warlord wannabe, breaking Kai Leng's sword before you gut him.

How often does the initial selection of tone carry the rest of the conversation?
Trying not to compare 10 seconds of pre-boss banter with several hundred hours of ME Trilogy playtime and say "Oh, obviously ME was better."
But I've 180'd in ME and in real life because someone dropped a particularly choice nugget of knowledge, and I know if I'd started a conversation honest but needed to end it threatening or vice versa and the game kept me from doing that, I would be annoyed.

well i think alpha protocol's dialogue system is better on three fronts
1 - most of the time you have three answers - and the tutorial tells you that they're all sorted by the tone your answer might carry - giving you more context as to how your answer might sound
2 - that system is super complex and versatile - the web of choices and consequences running behind all this is probably the most complex i've ever seen
3 - the whole thing is timed like in telltale games - meaning you have to start thinking on your reply while the other character is still talking - which removes those long, awkward pauses between lines and softens the blow of a bad choice
sometimes you say something that doesn't land and it's your job to dig yourself out of this mess
there's more, of course
like actually reading documents unlocking new lines (the game tracks which line of a document is displayed on screen when browsing through your codex and if it detects there's enough context for something there - it adds that thing to your next related conversation
or how those convos run in real time - which means you can sometimes stall and play for time to let your ability cooldowns reset

like - a person that might be on your side on one playthrough might be a final boss in the next one

or you can team up with a villain and sail into the sunset
or you can piss of the villain, then kill his boss, then team up with that dude yet again only to stab him in the back in the last level... and sail off to the sunset
when on my third playthrough one guy complimented me on my choice of clothes which then led to me playing the next mission in a completely different way which led to me finding more intel which led to me learning someone was a double spy ALL ALONG (including two previous playthroughs) which then led me to killing that person i was like

The only mods I've ever installed were the Nier Automata fixes back when that first launched (apparently it was based on DSFix, thought you might like that), and fixing the Crusader in ME3MP. Bioware did some absolutely broken coding for shotguns in that part of the game and if you didn't get the fix you were dealing with half-second delays on your hitscan projectiles.

but then again - we never got anything similar to burnout paradise so i'd be fine with that
