So in cyberpunk there's a quest where you're shopping for some nice clothes and a cyberpsycho barges in killing people, and you have to kill him and also maxtac comes to help but not instantly so naturally they only come in once the cyberpsycho's cold body hits the ground me being so cool and fast and all, and then this maxtac bit weird lady says "did you feel the life leaving his body" and like huh? Girl you were still landing while I already tore him apart, what life did you feel leaving in a building several dozen meters away through the walls of your av high in the air???
She also flexes her mantis blades and you can uh... Borrow them... With appropriate permission of course... Permission being your shotgun...

and by extension - everything there is to do in control

i wish remedy finally got good at making bossfights
they spent like 5 hours setting up this fight against ||hartman||
you meet him multiple times and each time you can't defeat him - only scare him away
they set him up as this terrifying, unbeatable force
and then the proper bossfight started and he was just...
standing there menacing nearby air as i mag-dumped like 200 rounds into him from the smg weapon form
and his healthbar just melted away
no joke
i encountered more dangerous vending machines in this game
and then he died, game played a short cutscene setting up alan wake and then it just dumped me back into the arena and gave me...
a single blue-tier weapon mod
a thing that was completely useless on hour 5...
...out of 32 i dumped into this game
and a few seconds later the random encounter script kicked in cause the game spawned like 5 more enemies and i swear to god - they were a bigger challenge than the boss itself
which - in turn - seemed to mess up some other scripting because that triggered some dialogue lines from jesse that sounded like they should play at the beginning of the bossfight or even shortly before it
it's such a mess
i dumped over 30 hours into this game and i feel like a half of it was wasted
