Okay so In BG3 I literally cracked the ceilling of a bandit hideout and nearly lost to them and one of my team mates died but revived him and the others were down and yeah it was a bloody battle like the whole floor was a blood puddle and then we were assaulted by undeads but got out unscathed

You can do that in both BUT RoR2 is more satisfying in that aspect because the run can theoretically last forever with unlimited item stacking while there is a cap for Hades (you beat the end boss and that's about it).
So if the feeling of completely demolish the game (and your PC hardware) matters more for you, definitely RoR2.
