Aerith in the remake was the best character in that game. Any scenes with her in it are the most memorable ones. But in the ending || she becomes the opposite and becomes an exposition vehicle for explaining nomura's take on alternate timelines, and explaining how it's not going to be the same ff7 while you fight nonsensical bosses that rudely interrupt all the story that has been building up the last 20 hours||

and then one day one rogue AI goes through this persons photos and socials history and what not and learns their fears and insecurities and what not
and takes control over all the other smart things in their house, locks the door and proceedes to torment that person till they go insane
like - it's not even that far fetched
we've got all this sort of tech
it just needs that little pinch of malicious AI spice to make it all work
