Very lucky run room-wise: 3 story rooms, 2 fountains, survival, thanatos and 2-sack (although game didn't give me midshop in Asphodel and no Chaos). Not as lucky for the boons though, got ME in the shop before Lernie and divine dash in Elysium. Still got sub 8:30 and beat my PB by more than 30 seconds. Can definitely see myself getting sub 8 one day with better gameplay and boon rng

So, I got Hades on switch a night or two ago. I make it a habit to start over every now aand again, so I didn't bring mmy data over. I have played 4 runs, this was my last. In the other three, the champions took me out. On this run I took them out, got through Styx, confronted Hades, and took him out all in one run lol.

And barely managed it at that. I had 10 HP and had used the only death defy I had.

If you're trying to get sub 10 as quickly as possible, go for a more consistent build. Zeus attack and any percentage special on aspect of Demeter is good, and like others have said RNG is always what's going to determine the time.
