Not the most amazing run, but I had fun trying out Hera and got to play with all the cool Trippy Fog stuff. I was really hoping to get under 20 for the first time but got unlucky with Styx and Hades disappearing a lot.

@analog halo run complete, can confirm this was a very fun build. Doom + lightning autoproccing with curse of vengence for ~1k dmg every 3 seconds with privileged status/jolted /impending doom stacking together.
Then 2x ares cast with Artemis duo + triple bomb special the rest of the time, never even had time to use the regular attack https://i.imgur.com/4gHk9rw.jpeg

@fiery tendon i have ~175 escape attempts, 115 clears. I’d say ~80% of them were done in early access. I had maxed out all relationships/keepsakes/prophecies etc prior to release, so all that was left was the new 1.0 content. I’d imagine if I would do a fresh save I could do 49/49 achivements in far less time/number of runs

I had a chance to get it early on, but I took the boon from Chaos that adds % damage to damage types unaffected by boons (because I needed it for the prophecy). Otherwise, I would have absolutely taken that.

Best thing you can do to farm darkness is do runs with lower heat. You get like 400ish per run that way. If you get the poseidon boon that gives you more darkness you're off the the races

If simple hard way, you take the chances of not dodging an attack per dodge modifier and multiply them
0.85 x 0.85 x 0.628 = 0.460955, which is the chance to not dodge an attack at all. 1-0.460955 is the dodge chance

i found that with arthur you can dash between big slashes and it doesn't interrupt combo

so you can clear rooms SUPER quickly by positioning well with the dashes and just comboing your slashes forever

i also got hammers that let me clear rooms quickly, namely 200% backstab and 300% damage to armor

My first "Cast Only" run. Played mostly Artemis + Poseidon. Aspect of Poseidon + Flood Shot + Mirage Shot + Exit Wounds + Gasp from Chaos (+1 Cast).

To give you an idea => 4 Cast Shot + 1 Special (disloges the crystals so it triggers 4 times Exit Wounds) => A third of Asterius' HP. Was really fun to play !

The build requires athena on special because it is a prerequisite for Merciful End, along with the doom attacks

#

But you actually proc doom with your divine dash

#

So at minimum, Ares attack, Athena special and dash, and merciful end are necessary for the build (with impending doom being super high priority - worth rerolling for if you have ME already)

thanks to shield having innate block I managed to leave asphodel with 1/163hp and no DD to making my way all to Pat and getting full DD again (and losing a DD to poison because the pools are mean to activate) and finally barely scraping by in the final fight

RNG hitting the weirdest way. First of all, for some reason my dash got level 12. Second, All the health related boons appeared right at the start of the run. Last, I was using the Aspect of Chiron, but those two hammers decided to make my attack a booming shotgun. It was a fun run.

Drunken Flourish is sooo good on Chiron. Personaly I feel like deadly flourish is more fun but you kinda need 2 specific hammers to make that build come together. This way all you need is some poms and you're golden. Good job man!

But yeah Hangover isn't worthless. It's extremely easy to maintain 5 stacks of it on multiple targets with Relentless Volley.

The damage adds up, and it's great for small targets like Flamewheels and skulls. It also has the added bonus of wrecking through Tartarus, which is a real concern with Tight Deadline 3

Woooo attempt 4 escape! Started a hell mode file after finishing epilogue on normal. Doom on bow attack isn’t ideal, but at least Dire Misfortune showed up to make it less heinous.

This was such an awkward run, and I was so diffident that I took skelly's tooth. Turned out not to need it, like, at all. Pleased to have salvaged a pretty garbage situation.

I planned out this build in my head, and then somehow it worked out even better than I imagined. Aspect of Poseidon + Exit Wounds + a bunch of Cast buffs and Critical damage = boss decimator. I literally had to do a double take when I beat the Elysium boss fight, it was over so fast.
