Guan yu is the first hidden aspect that players unlock and it is dramatically different from every other weapon they've seen

It is super impactful to see your health bar go down, it has the cool healing mechanic, the move set is super different

It stands out, and while the health penalty is punishing, it also is rewarding for players who want the challenge and to identify with it

Like you get to say "I'm a guan yu main" and newer players who just unlocked it and died in tartarus say "woah... this guy is super good"
