butterfly is one of the worst tbh
for the end fight you want to use the acorn or skelly because they're great defensive keepsakes

the reason why butterfly is bad is because it requires you to use at the very start to get the most value and requires you not to get hit. for newer players, not getting hit is a pretty big issue.
also, equiping it at the start of the run means you lose control of your build, since you wont start off with the god you want. how most builds are created is by using god's keepsakes for tartarus and asphodel, since those are considered the easier biomes. duo boons are generally the core for a lot of builds, and you can guarantee the two gods you need with those two biomes. at that point, using the butterfly for elysium and styx isn't even worth it because the champions fight can be deadly, the various normal enemies can be a pain to dodge if you're not careful, and you only get the bonus from the final rooms in styx not every single chamber

Might be a time to rethink your strategy for encounters. Focus more on learning the encounters than winning the encounters. When you get to the Furies, just focus on learning their attacks and how to evade them first and foremost, then when you think you got the hang of it, try to see where you can safely get some hits in. You can do the same thing with any last enemy in an enemy wave in a normal encounter.

Important tip: dashes have i-frames but only if you empty-dash. If you use an Attack or anything mid-dash, you lose your i-frames.

There's a permanent save and a temp save in the files, basically. Permanent save is always in the House of Hades. Temp save is mid-run. "Quit" tells the game to load the temp save from mid-run next time. "Give Up" tells the game to load the permanent save in the Courtyard right before you started the run, so you lose all run progress if you choose that.

Best shield hammer ironically removes the Bull-Rush and replaces it with a Charged Shot.

Some general tips: most enemy attacks aim straight at Zagreus, so if you just circle your enemies, you'll avoid most attacks.

That should help a lot with the "bullet hell", too.
