You can get Titan Blood from the first boss once with each weapon. You can trade with the Wretched Broker: 1 Titan Blood for the cost of 1 Ambrosia, and there's a special deal of 1 Titan Blood for the cost of 15 Chthonic Keys sometimes (good idea to always keep 15 Keys on you for that!). You can buy Titan Blood from the final shop (50% chance there's a Titan Blood for sale, 50% it's a Diamond instead). And after you beat the final boss, you'll unlock more ways to gain Titan Blood. So where you're at now, you're expected to have up to 6 Titan Blood from the first boss for each weapon + maybe a couple from trades.

Ambrosia is basically a higher tier Nectar that you'll need for the later hearts.

It's okay to trade in a few. Especially when you reach the point where you need a lot of Ambrosia, you won't have much use for Nectar, so you'll trade in a lot of Nectar for Ambrosia by then anyway.

And you'll trade in Keys for Nectar, too.

Alright so the first thing you have to understand about the Bow in order for it to not feel clunky is Dash strikes and Powershots, if you hold your attack button for a brief moment, there is a quick flash, which is your cue to release the attack button to let out a Powershot, which does more damage, it also has a different sound which you can use to know whether you were successful or not, with enough time and practice this will be 100% instinct and you wont even think about it nor need the sound or the flash, the other basic thing is dash-striking, dash-strikes are important for the bow because it makes the attack charge faster, therefore getting to that Powershot window more quickly, which means you can let out more arrows compared to doing standing strikes only, the "giveaway" is that Powershots deal a bit less damage, however they have better scaling options through Chaos and Hunter Dash, since they benefit from Attack (strike) buffs and Dash-strike (lunge) buffs, standing attacks only benefit from Attack buffs. To make sure that you're dash striking you can look at the way Zag is holding the bow, if it's vertical then it's a dash strike, if it's horizontal then it's not, there is also quite a noticeable difference in terms of charging speed of the attack so it should be obvious which is which, these are things you have to familiarize yourself with in order to play bow well, it's sort of like a rhythm which you get used to eventually.

Like I legit can't play Zag Bow for long because the whole run is just dash > hold Attack > let go > repeat with the same rhythm except sometimes you do 2 dashes and sometimes you do 1. It's fun when you're still getting down your Power Shot timing. But when you have that down like 100%, it's pretty dull. There's also the few times you want to quick-release rather than do a Power Shot because it's sufficient for the kill, but that's also practically instinct with enough hours in. The positioning still matters, and sometimes it can be fun for a couple runs, but it gets dull too quickly for me.

Doing other stuff like a Special build or whatever can be entertaining, but it's strictly less effective. And using the normal Attack instead of Dash-Strikes is just gonna be slower except for very very niche situations very early in the run.

So if you want to be more effective with the power, it's all about learning Dash-Strike Power Shot rhythm and then working on your positioning and sometimes timing for certain enemies.

Plus just general fundamentals like learning enemy behavior and attacks, learning room layouts, etc.

hey guys whats the best build for the aspect of chiron and can i also have some tips on how to beat hades?

Start with Dionysus on special. Attack one baddie, special to apply full hangover, then switch targets if there are multiple baddies. You crowd control by quickly applying full-stack Hangover around the room. You’ll get a feel for when it’s worth firing another volley or to let the hangover ticks finish the job. Get Aphrodite or Ares on attack for Privileged Status. Any of their duos can scale this up too. This is probably my favorite overall Chiron build. It’s strong even if you don’t get the good hammers or duos.

And for the hammers,
You want Concentrated Volley (bonus damage on consecutive special arrows) and Relentless Volley (more special arrows). There’s a persistent myth that Relentless Volley slows down your special that isn’t quite true: the standing animation is a little longer, but you can dash to cancel out of it at the same time as before, so it’s not any more dangerous in practice.

Piercing Volley is OK. Armored baddies are always a threat and shooting Theseus in the face is great fun, but it does reduce the distance of your special a little bit.

If you’re only getting offered attack hammers, they’re still great so you can pivot and use Chiron like a worse Zagreus Bow and still kick some ass if you wind up with something like Twin Shot & Perfect Shot or Triple Shot & Point-Blank Shot.

And that is how to play in general
Dash-strikes on the bow charge much faster than regular attacks. Dash-strike, preferably away from a baddie, and hit them with an attack to tag them. Mash special and dash about as needed until they die or the tag expires. You can dash at the end of your special to cancel out of the animation. If you’re fast you can get off 3 volleys. Repeat.

Swift Flourish from Hermes is useful here to get off more volleys and reduce the special animation time even more.

Flank them. Most enemy attacks are in a direct line to Zagreus. If you dash away, they'll often chase you and attack or they attack first and you're still in their line of attack after the dash. If you flank them, they'll whiff their attack and you'll have plenty of time for a clean shot.

Start Tidal Dash, then look for Deadly Strike (+ Hunter's Mark) or Lightning Strike (+ Static Discharge). Put a whole lot of poms on Tidal Dash and a couple on Hunter's Mark/Static Discharge respectively. Best hammer you can get by far is Flurry Jab. Play very aggressive just killing everything with Dash-Strikes and double-tapping Special inbetween to reset your buff. Greatest Reflex or Hyper Sprint from Lord Hermes (use rerolls if you can), if you have Hyper Sprint already, look for Rush Delivery above anything else from him. If you're unlucky with those two boons, Greater Evasion and Greater Haste are also reasonable picks.

Other than that, pretty much just get as much max HP as you can.

Spam Dash-Strike Power Shots, ignore the standing Attack. Ignore the Special. Pretty much. That's how you play bow at a top level, and it's also the best way to practice getting better at it.

Fire one Dash-Strike Power Shot from far, then a second one before the enemy gets close if you can, then bait an attack when the enemy gets close, empty-dash (i.e., dash without pressing attack or anything) to their side or behind to flank them as they whiff their attack, then immediately hold Attack after the Dash for another Dash-Strike Power Shot to their back. And just keep doing that pretty much.

Take every Chaos Gate you can for Attack and Dash-Strike damage. Take Heartbreak Strike or Deadly Strike for Attack + either Hunter Dash and Divine Dash. Deadly Strike + Passion Dash is also a strong combo and can potentially get their Duo Boon. Look for Cyclops Jerkies in Wells to increase your Attack damage.

Best hammers are Twin Shot and Triple Shot, followed by Perfect Shot, Point-Blank Shot, and Flurry Shot. Flurry Shot is less desirable because it virtually doesn't benefit from Dash-Strike damage bonuses. Explosive Shot can be alright but difficult to use and you're mostly gonna be quick-releasing your shots at melee range with that. The other hammers don't really matter on base bow.

Your Attack is actually good enough. It fires in a straight line towards your enemies and breaks all the projectiles in its that path that could be heading towards you. So you wanna try to line them up in a way they're not firing at you from different directions. If you dash north towards the island there, there's one north of you, and the other 3 will all head towards the center to your left/right (the room can be mirrored, so times you enter on the right and sometimes on the left side). Try to take down the one north of you right away. If you dash towards it, there's a pillar up there that will block the projectiles from the others, so you can quickly take down the north one from there if you can't kill it before the others start shooting. And then since the other 3 are all bunched up in the center, they're firing from one direction at you rather than from all around you, so it's much easier to avoid their attacks.

You can improve the chances of getting higher rarity boons before you get them while you add on poms afterwards though theres an exception or two. being one rarity higher is usually like having the boon already pommed once or twice. there are things like not all boons being able to be pommed, rarity doesnt effect the increase from poms, poms have diminishing returns, the max rarity is heroic while theres no max for poms.

Your dash is all iframes, if your timing was correct there is no way you would get hit, if you dash-strike however it strips the iframes away so you become vulnerable again
