Bloodstones get caught in enemies and do damage on impact, but can also, with the right perks, make it so your other attacks are more effective

Dionysus is one of the rarer ones for me, especially outside of Tartarus. I find Hermes the most there oddly enough

Speed comes with experience and it's achieved by balancing risk and safety
I suggest going at snail's pace for now even if it's not that fun

That's just what helped me with Crypt of the Necrodancer

So while you might kill something fast because you rushed and risked it and lacked skill to make up for it
It might not be quite a good kill because you'd have taken a poop ton of damage and you're left wondering
